Quality surveillance is a key step in the risk mitigation process. It
must be integrated with the entire mill purchase, not be considered as a
stand-alone item.
EAnD believe that quality surveillance
checking should be performed by engineers whenever possible. An engineer
understands both the principles of the design and the processes used to manufacture
the equipment and therefore knows what to look for and what is important.
EAnD provide a full quality surveillance service for mills, crushers and
other equipment including:
Vendor and sub-supplier qualification;
Pre-manufacturing review meetings;
Development of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for manufacture and
commissioning;
Review of welding, casting, machining and NDE procedures;
